State of Alaska Practical Examination
Thursday Evening		 Staff and Volunteers CME Hours offered to proctors ambulance_color

The State of Alaska Practical Examination will be offered the Thursday evening.  This is a perfect opportunity for EMT students, EMT recertification candidates, or EMT instructor candidates to complete the practical examination portion of the State of Alaska EMT exam.  This examination is open to all levels of Alaska EMTs.  Participants must pre-register in order to ensure that there is enough staffing and supplies to conduct the examination.  Contact a SEREMS staff member for more information.

 
SEREMS Council Certifying Officers' Gathering

An opportunity for SEREMS Council appointed State Certifying Officers to review the Department Approved Practical Examination Process.  If you are currently a certifying officer for us, please stop by to assist during the practical examination, and then stay for a gathering with Anjela Johnston.  Contact Anjela if you have questions, or to RSVP.

 
 
     
 

Continuing Medical Education Credits

 Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs) are being arranged for Emergency Trauma Technicians and EMTs.  CMEs will be offered through the State of Alaska.

stethscope_color  Continuing Education credits (CEs) are being arranged for nurses, and physicians.  CEs for nurses will be offered through the California Board of Registered Nursing.

caduceus_bwPhysician continuing education credit will be offered through the American Association of Family Physicians, which is equivalent to Category One CME from the American Medical Association.
